All Inclusive Holidays

All inclusive holidays are a great way to save some money when you decide to go on holiday, however a lot of people pay for an all inclusive holiday and never reap all the benefits and would have been up to 40% cheaper just booking a flight + hotel, So as a frequent user of all inclusive holidays I am here to give you some tips.

Nowadays it Doesn’t matter where you are going you can get an all inclusive holiday from someplace whether its Spain or Egypt there is always an all inclusive package for you bargain hunters but sometimes even the bargain hunters should not use all inclusive all the time. So who should take all inclusive holidays?

  • Family’s. Most hotels have a large markup on drinks, snacks & food and when you have to pay for 4+ people for all of those combined it definitely adds up. Where as if you book all inclusive you will get free food, drinks & snacks all within the comfort of the hotel
  • Sun Seekers. If you go on holiday just to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life and lounge by the pool most days then all inclusive is the ideal choice for you since you will likely be sitting in the hotel most of the day you will likely take advantage of their services free drinks, lunch and breakfast.
  • Groups of Friends. If you are going on holiday to party and do the mad thing then you will be out all night in all day.

So now that you know who all inclusive holidays are for, who are they not for?

  • Sight Seekers. If you immerse yourself in the local culture and like to go out and see everything then spending the extra cash on an all inclusive holiday would be pointless as you will only be spending time in the hotel when you are sleeping.
  • Couples. Now this is not always this case every-time (see sun seekers above) but if you are a couple the last thing you will want is to be stuck in a hotel sharing romantic moments with screaming children & drunken friends.

How to get the most from your all inclusive holiday.

  • Most hotels have set time at which all inclusivers can eat/drink you will be told these times when you check-in be sure to memorise these times and get up for breakfast and order a few extra drinks before the drink time stops.
  • Hotels sometimes have separate areas in which all inclusive stuff is available i.e. certain dining areas or certain bars be sure not to order anything from any of the other areas or you will be charged some will even just stick it on your bill so you can get hit with a cheeky bill on checkout
  • Most hotels will have a snack bar in which you can get crisps/ice cream/sweets from usually after lunch or breakfast, you can usually help yourself to these tke some extra shove it in your room for later so when your hungry no need to pay for food/snacks from the hotel shop.

Here are some great all inclusive holiday deals from sunshine for holidays all over the world from Egypt to Spain.

Egypt Holiday Tips & Places to Go See

Egyptian Holidays

Egypt is a great place to travel to if you are looking for something a lot different! The eather is great almost all year round so be sure to pack some sunscreen as the skin can melt right off you in the early afternoon. So if you are going on holiday to Egypt this year here are some things you must go see.

  • Cairo! This is place is chaos and I am surprised anyone can drive anywhere with camels overtaking you and the the drivers are just crazy but this is the place to be if you want to see the pyramid’s above although if you are going out into the desert i suggest using camels and not horses as the ride is a lot smoother. You may also want to pop into the museum you are not allowed to take camera’s in but some of the ancient artifacts are very cool and one could sit in there for hours staring at the glorious wonders.
  • If you are in Sharm you will want to go swimming in the sea so remember your snorkel. Most hotels will provide a shuttle to the beach and like most other places you will have to pay for a lounger to keep you in the shade.
  • The Desert! I was in Sharm and took a 8 hour car drive to Cairo and most of it was through the vast desert which was almost abandoned! it was so quiet and is unlike anything i have ever seen.
  • Again if you are in Sharm you may want to visit the Old Market it is a great spectacle with tons of shops/bars and even a nice show with fire eaters/breathers people who lie on beds of nails and a lot of other crazy stuff. They often ask members of the audience to come join them and take part in the festivities

Now that you have a list of things to do here are somethings you do not want to forget, Egypt is a great place but make sure you have the correct stuff to go with otherwise your Holiday can turn into a nightmare quite quickly.

  • Sunscreen & After-sun, As someone who has had sunstroke i would seriously advise you to take a couple of bottles of each of those as Egypt is in Africa and it can be so hot it is almost impossible to stand in the sun, Choose a higher factor i would go no less than factor 30 and i don’t burn easily either so be warned!
  • A Baseball cap or something to cover your head and face, if you are going out and about you will need a hat otherwise expect to squint your eyes as there are no clouds and the sun beats down on you all day long
  • Sunglasses, yes this should be a given but you will be surprised how many people actually wait till they get out there before they by shades this can result in you getting a shoddy pair of shades that break quite easily and really don’t keep the sun out of your eyes.
  • Paracetamol, the heat can cause some strange things to your body and a few of these babies can stop headaches. Also the food in Egypt is very rich which can result in a very upset stomach for those who are not used to it Paracetamol come in handy.
  • Lots of spare clothes, you will sweat prefusely so take a few extra shirts or t-shirts as the last thing you want is to have to clean clothes and all the other ones stinking of sweat
  • Your Manners, Never forget your manners they should travel everywhere with you but the Egyptian people are very nice however their beliefs are very different from those in the UK so be polite and you will go a long way.

OK so now you have some things to do & things to take you should be set to go. One last tip shop owners & traders will always try to get you into their shops or to buy certain things if you don’t want it be polite and so no, never say i will be back later as they will always remember your face. Some even go as far as asking you to come in for Tea this is a great way to waste a couple of hours but if you are in a hurry i suggest you politely decline. Now here are some videos of my trip to the pyradmids!

If you still have to book a holiday to egypt check out these great deals for Sharm El Sheikh, this place has somethinf for everyone you are near the beach, casino’s great nightlife and plenty places & activity’s to enjoy…Check out the Egyptian Holiday deals here
