If you live for the weekend and nothing gets your blood pumping like a great party, then why restrict your self to the UK? After you’ve been a few places in the UK you have seen it all and will probably get fed up of it all. So why not be a weekend globe trotting party maniac… We have taken all the hard work for you and found you 5 places you absolutely have to visit for some great parties, even if its only for the weekend. With flights as cheap as a return taxi nowadays there is no reason not to go sample the weekend life in another country.
1. Ibiza, Spain
Ibiza, well everyone knew this was going to be near the top. Ibiza is the self proclaimed party place, with numerous albums dedicated to the sounds of Ibiza there is no wonder this place attracts people from all over Europe. With a usual nights partying starting at 11pm and not finishing up until 6am (8am in some places) you can be sure that you will need your lucozade for this trip. The main music theme of Ibiza is Trance/Dance music which involves alot of dancing so be sure to come with the customary Kevin & Perry look.
2. Amsterdam, Holland
Amsterdam, Attracts party heads from all around the world and it doesnt matter what time of year it is Amsterdam is always in full party mode, with tourists descending all year round to take in the sights of this wonderful place. With a large amount of activities to partake in you really cannot get bored. There is the red light district where paying for sex is a normal thing and women all shapes, sizes & colours. If you dont have the stamina left after all that partying you could always sit in one of the many theatres that have live sex shows on display. If you have been out all night partying and just want to head off to sleep then there are many coffee shops which Amsterdam is famed for, where you can simply go in and “skin up a joint” of Amsterdam’s finest cannabis.
3. Pamplona, Spain
Spain again, Spain takes up two spots of our top 5 party destinations this is because the weather is great & everyone is relaxed and really enjoy a good party. Pamlona spain has a wide array of bars & clubs suitable for everyone, whether you just want a relaxing drink or a head thumping crazy party in one of Pamplona’s famous nightclubs (it wouldnt be Spain without a great nightclub). These night clubs though do have some strict dress codes & the doormen usually choose the beautiful to enter so ensure you have a girl in your group dressed to impress.
4. Munich, Germany
Munich, famed for its Oktoberfest beer festival. Munich like most of Germany is stocked up with a selection of great bars, pubs & clubs but the difference with this city is the large amount of students. This is an experience you just cannot describe.
5. Athens, Greece
The Greeks invented partying. Most parties in Athens last till 4am and there are wide range of places to with parties happening on the beach (indoor & outdoor). Remember to dress nice because the clubs in Athens are a little dressy.

You know the worst thing about going on holiday is the flight, being stuck in a tiny space with nothing to do but try to get comfortable (like that is ever going to happen), This is especially tru in package holidays when you don’t really have a choice of your flight seats and are just handed your ticket and have to go with whatever seat they give you. Well last year i jumped aboard my first EasyJet flight and i was pleasantly surprised when it said passengers were just to choose there own seats i was so happy about this! I no longer needed to get stuck in the aisle seat with carts crashing past me and i finally got to see out of the plane window and look at all the pretty lights (yes iam a big kid really but it was so cool!) so my recommendation to anyone who can’t afford better seats is go with EasyJet their customer service is great, flights are cheap & you get to choose your own seat! So if your looking for a cheap holiday i would recommend heading over to Sunshine grab a cheap hotel & then book your flight with EasyJet. If you know of any other airlines that do this feel free to post a comment below!

Egypt is a great place to travel to if you are looking for something a lot different! The eather is great almost all year round so be sure to pack some sunscreen as the skin can melt right off you in the early afternoon. So if you are going on holiday to Egypt this year here are some things you must go see.
- Cairo! This is place is chaos and I am surprised anyone can drive anywhere with camels overtaking you and the the drivers are just crazy but this is the place to be if you want to see the pyramid’s above although if you are going out into the desert i suggest using camels and not horses as the ride is a lot smoother. You may also want to pop into the museum you are not allowed to take camera’s in but some of the ancient artifacts are very cool and one could sit in there for hours staring at the glorious wonders.
- If you are in Sharm you will want to go swimming in the sea so remember your snorkel. Most hotels will provide a shuttle to the beach and like most other places you will have to pay for a lounger to keep you in the shade.
- The Desert! I was in Sharm and took a 8 hour car drive to Cairo and most of it was through the vast desert which was almost abandoned! it was so quiet and is unlike anything i have ever seen.
- Again if you are in Sharm you may want to visit the Old Market it is a great spectacle with tons of shops/bars and even a nice show with fire eaters/breathers people who lie on beds of nails and a lot of other crazy stuff. They often ask members of the audience to come join them and take part in the festivities
Now that you have a list of things to do here are somethings you do not want to forget, Egypt is a great place but make sure you have the correct stuff to go with otherwise your Holiday can turn into a nightmare quite quickly.
- Sunscreen & After-sun, As someone who has had sunstroke i would seriously advise you to take a couple of bottles of each of those as Egypt is in Africa and it can be so hot it is almost impossible to stand in the sun, Choose a higher factor i would go no less than factor 30 and i don’t burn easily either so be warned!
- A Baseball cap or something to cover your head and face, if you are going out and about you will need a hat otherwise expect to squint your eyes as there are no clouds and the sun beats down on you all day long
- Sunglasses, yes this should be a given but you will be surprised how many people actually wait till they get out there before they by shades this can result in you getting a shoddy pair of shades that break quite easily and really don’t keep the sun out of your eyes.
- Paracetamol, the heat can cause some strange things to your body and a few of these babies can stop headaches. Also the food in Egypt is very rich which can result in a very upset stomach for those who are not used to it Paracetamol come in handy.
- Lots of spare clothes, you will sweat prefusely so take a few extra shirts or t-shirts as the last thing you want is to have to clean clothes and all the other ones stinking of sweat
- Your Manners, Never forget your manners they should travel everywhere with you but the Egyptian people are very nice however their beliefs are very different from those in the UK so be polite and you will go a long way.
OK so now you have some things to do & things to take you should be set to go. One last tip shop owners & traders will always try to get you into their shops or to buy certain things if you don’t want it be polite and so no, never say i will be back later as they will always remember your face. Some even go as far as asking you to come in for Tea this is a great way to waste a couple of hours but if you are in a hurry i suggest you politely decline. Now here are some videos of my trip to the pyradmids!
If you still have to book a holiday to egypt check out these great deals for Sharm El Sheikh, this place has somethinf for everyone you are near the beach, casino’s great nightlife and plenty places & activity’s to enjoy…Check out the Egyptian Holiday deals here

Gadgets are a big part of a lot of people’s life’s, some people can’t seem to go anywhere without taking their ithingy with them, i guess it is to avoid that yucky thing called “social interaction”, you will know what i mean if you have ever been on a bus/train it must be the only place that no-one really has an interest in meeting others seems a strange but people will go to great lengths to avoid social interaction while travelling this can include:
pretending to read the newspaper, looking at the ads plastered everywhere, listening to music & my personal favourite the glazey eyed daydream. So this guide is for all you loners who need something occupy themselves while flying/travelling from airport to hotels.
1. The iPod/MP3 Player
Whether you like them or not you will need one if you want to stay sane on a long haul flight, it drowns out the noise of screaming children and you can just shove the music on close your eyes and drift off into dreamland and pretend you are already on the beach & not in some confined space with less leg room than a kids computer desk.
2. Mobile Phone
Ah the ever great invention where would we be today if these beauty’s were not invented i mean how would we keep up with friends, or phone emergency services when your leg is torn off by a shark! But watch out for those roaming charges they are worse than a case of malaria! see here
3. Portable DVD Player/Laptop
Yes i know this sounds sad but have you ever had sunstroke and had to sit in bed for 3 days? with nothing to watch besides foreign TV it is a good idea to take something like this along with you to keep you occupied if your flight gets delayed or god forbid you are to hungover to get out of bed for a couple of hours!
4. Travel Adapters
Yes i know you can pick up travel adapters everywhere for pennies however i would highlight suggest buying a good one from a reliable retailer before you leave, airport one’s are flimsy and often don’t work and the one’s you get on holiday are even worse and could end up ruining anything you plug into them! i got mine from here but you could always go for something more snazzy like a pink one!
5. Digital Camera/Video Camera
Everyone takes some sort of holiday snaps i mean how else would we remember what we did on holiday! Again make sure you have a backup SD/Micro SD Card & a backup battery nothing worse than getting into your second day and your camera breaks down, i mean how else would everyone know you are a tourist!
